Letter cards
De La Rue were asked to prepare several kinds of Edwardian postal stationer impressed with indicia often similar to those prepared for other British Colonies. They included single and double postcards for internal and international use, newspaper wrappers and stamped envelopes of two values and different sizes. Registered envelopes were also ordered impressed with the registration fee paid – again of different sizes. For the first time Transvaal had its own Letter card following the example of the Cape Colony.
